Video: The Last Guardian is coming out this October

It was thought by many that Sony’s The Last Guardian would never see the light of the day.

But the game from the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus developer finally has a release date.

It was revealed during last night’s PlayStation press conference that the game would be launching on October 25th – seven years after it was first announced.

The Last Guardian was originally unveiled for the PlayStation 3 back in 2009, and dropped off the radar for some time. That was before it opened Sony’s E3 2015 press event.

We also were treated to a brand new trailer for the game (below), which appears to feature an evil version of your cat-bird-dog-creature friend.
