VIDEO: The Ratchet and Clank movie has its first trailer

You can get your first taste of the upcoming film based on Insomniac Games’ Ratchet and Clank franchise.

The cinematic adaptation of the PlayStation IP is due out in April of next year and includes the voice acting talents of Sylvester Stallone, John Goodman, Paul Giamatti, Bella Throne and Rosario Dawson.

Simply titled ‘Ratchet and Clank’, the movie will follow the titular Lombax and robot as they join forces with the Galactic Rangers to battle against the evil alien Chairman Drek, who plans to destroy every planet in the Solana Galaxy.

The film will launch around the same period as the planned reboot of the first game in the series of third-person plaforming games, which landed on PS2 in 2002. That title will seeming also be called just ‘Ratchet and Clank’.
