Writer Amy Hennig leaves Naughty Dog

The creative director and writer for Sony’s Uncharted series has left developer Naughty Dog.

Amy Hennig had been at the studio for a decade and overseen the huge success of the Uncharted brand.

Sony confirmed the move in a statement to IGN which said: "We can confirm that Amy Hennig has left Naughty Dog. Amy has made significant contributions to the game industry and we appreciate all she has done for Naughty Dog. The development timeline of Uncharted will not be impacted."

IGN also claims to have word from sources that Hennig was forced out” by The Last of Us leads Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, who have subsequently assumed control of the Uncharted IP.
