Gem hires new IT boss

Richard Fox has joined Gem as its new IT director.

He joins the distributor and retail services provider having most recently worked at London-based IT distributor CMS Peripherals, where he was responsible for the company’s IT strategies and headed up the sales and commercial teams.

Fox has also held similar IT positions at Savills, Adecco, and Connectology. He will report to European managing director Chris Peacock.

Peacock added: "The key to Richard’s success will be to support and shape Gem’s vision and objectives by delivering an integrated, flexible and scalable IT solution that will work well to provide for the business internally, but also offer the same benefit externally to Gem’s customers and suppliers.
