WildTangent app allows users to rent or buy games

New games service launches on Sony Tablets

WildTangent has launched its first Android games service in Europe on the Sony Tablet S and P, the studio has announced.

The games app allows users to trial games for free and rent or purchase titles available on the store.

“Sony’s Tablet customers will enjoy mobile games on their own terms,” said WildTangent senior VP Sean Vanderdasson.

“We know people will appreciate the choice to play a variety of premium games for free, to rent for as little as 12p or to buy the games they know they want to play again and again.”

To celebrate the launch, the studio has said it is providing Sony customers with 20 free WildCoins to allow users free trial periods on games.

WildCoins are virtual currency that can be used to access the various games and services on offer from WildTangent.
