Trade association pledges to support casual games developers

Chunk Games joins Tiga

Glasgow based games studio Chunk Games have become the latest member of trade association Tiga.

“As a new games company, formed from a background in advertising rather than the games industry, we’re looking for an organisation that can help us network, integrate and find opportunities in a new community,” said Chunk Games MD Donnie Kerrigan.

“With the new casual games division TIGA have recognised our market and are perfectly placed to help us do that.”

Tiga CEO Richard Wilson said casual games “are an important part of the UK video games sector” and that its new committee will “advance the interests” and “promote the commercial opportunities” of studios in this sector.
