Resident Evil remakes get retail release

Capcom has confirmed that its upcoming Resident Evil remakes RE4 and Code Veronica X will get a retail release alongside their digital releases.

Furthermore, both games have now been given a North American release date, with RE4 arriving on September 20th and Code Veronica landing on September 27th.

The pair had already been dated for September 8th in Japan.

It will be interesting to see how the digital and retail RRPs compare. With pressure on the High Street forcing the prices of every new release down, the premium asked for a digital version could be telling.
