10m downloads for Angry Birds Rio

The latest edition of Angry Birds has soared past ten million downloads just ten days after its release, the game’s developer has claimed.

Rovio said Angry Birds Rio had been breaking all records” in a message released on the firm’s Twitter account.

Rio is the fastest-selling Angry Birds edition yet, the figures suggest, showing that the mobile market’s lust for the franchise hasn’t dulled.
