Xbox Quiz warms up Xmas

If you believe everything in the media, Britain has been brought to a standstill by snow.

But believe this report: the show hasn’t chilled us – and tonight’s Xbox/MCV Pub Quiz is still going ahead.

The event takes place at Sway Bar, Holborn and the bar opens at 6pm ahead of the quiz starting promptly at 7pm.

Currently, 18 teams from across the trade are competing to win an array of prizes – and most importantly glory and bragging rights amongst their peers.

The teams are: 505 Games, Ubisoft, Gem, uDraw (THQ), A Game Distribution, Turner Media Innovations, Rocksteady, Tesco, HMV, Comet, GAME Group, GameSpot, Argos, IGN, Imagine Publishing, Videogamer.com, Future Publishing and Dennis Publishing.

The Xbox 360/MCV Pub Quiz is organised by Intent Media and sponsored by Microsoft, 505 Games, EA Sports, Turner Media Innovations, Lygo/Hubb, Ubisoft, uDraw (THQ), A Game Distribution and Gem. Rocksteady Games are even providing the beer mats. Seriously.
