Casual games giant spreads into Googleâ??s mobile operating system

Zynga launching Android titles

Zynga has announced that it will be launching games on Google’s mobile operating platform Android, starting with Live Poker.

As reported on VentureBeat, the announcement was made at a Facebook mobile event yesterday.

Zynga, having only recently launched FarmVille for iPhone, has now given a vote of confidence to the competing platform, having decided the cost of adaption was worth it.

No further details have yet been released.
