MPs in gaming question time

Members of Parliament will take part in a Q&A session to discuss the state of the games industry on March 29th.

Trade body ELSPA will hold the event at the BAFTA building in London. It aims to give retailers, publishers, developers and others involved in the industry the chance to grill MPs about its future.

Representing each political party will be Tom Watson on behalf of Labour, Ed Vaizey from the Conservatives and Lib Dem’s Don Foster.

MPs will discuss their vision for the industry, including topics such as tax incentives, graduate investment, IP theft and the impact of the Digital Economy Bill, ahead of the next general election expected in May or June.

Attendees can submit a question before the event and will be able to share their views on the night, which kicks off at 7.30pm.

Tickets will cost 10 and go on sale this Friday. Those interested can email questionTime2010@elspa.com for ticket enquiries.
