Another retailer cuts Wii price

For the second time this week a leaked ad from North America has backed up the belief that Nintendo will announce a Wii price cut later this month at its private event running alongside the Tokyo Game Show.

This time the claims from Kotaku, which has evidence of an ad from US retail chain Target. Yet again, $199.99 is the new price being touted – a $50 drop on the current RRP.

It also claims that the cut will come into effect in the week of September 27th.

MCV understands that UK retail remains in the dark concerning the UK implications of Nintendo’s upcoming move.
