New claims differ from previous predictions of $12-15m

Ghostbusters â??cost $15-$20m to develop’

Multiple reports are claiming that Terminal Reality’s latest Ghostbusters game cost $15 million to develop.

The most recent source for the dev budget figure comes from Fort Worth news group Star Telegram, which claims that the game finished production with “a final budget of $15-$20 million.”

That figure is notably higher than previous dev cost suggestions. Ghostbusters’ participating actor Dan Aykroyd told If Magazine that the dev budget was “like $12 or $15 million.”

MCV analysis shows that Ghostbusters debuted at fourth in the UK charts back in June, with 98 per cent of sales coming from the PS3 edition and 2 per cent from the PS2 version.
