Tekken 6 finally dated

Having first been revealed over four years ago, Namco Bandai has at last named a release date of October 27th for Xbox 360 and PS3 brawler Tekken 6, according to GameSpot.

That’s for North America, of course – though no European date has been confirmed, an October 30th arrival now seems highly likely. There’s still no release date for the PSP version.

Furthermore, the publisher has revealed a pair of pre-order incentives for the US. Alongside the standard SKU, gamers will also be able to pick up a Wireless Fight Stick Bundle for both 360 and PS3 which will retail for $149.99 and include a Hori joystick – similar to those clamoured for amidst the mass shortages following the release of Street Fighter IV in the UK.

A second pre-order pack that’s exclusive to retailer GameStop will include some Penny Arcade themed DLC.

Tekken 6 was one of 2008’s headline grabbers when it followed several other high-profile franchises in going multiplatform after years of PlayStation exclusivity.
