GTA Chinatown Wars dated

Grand Theft Auto developer and publisher Rockstar has announced that its debut DS outing for the series, entitled GTA: Chinatown Wars, will be released in Europe on March 20th.

The game is set to arrive at North American retail slightly earlier – March 17th.

Rockstar had previously hinted that the game might not be released before the end of the firm’s financial year in April, having slipped from its initial January release, but it seems those concerns were unnecessary.

Chinatown Wars promises to deliver a free-roaming in-game map comparable with that found in recent next-gen offering Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360, PS3 and, most recently, PC.

The game was first announced at E3 last July.
