Video: Dragon Quest VII is finally coming to Europe

Nintendo announced a western release date for Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past during one of its livestream at E3.

The RPG will launch on 3DS in Europe and North America on September 16th.

Originally released on PSOne in 2000, Dragon Quest 7 was remade for the 3DS and launched in Japan in 2013.

News of a western release were first reported back in July 2015, before Nintendo confirmed it last November – also hinting at an upcoming remake of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for western markets.

Dragon Quest VII isn’t the only game in the series with an imminent launch in the West. Minecraft-inspired spin-off Dragon Quest was dated for Western for release on PS4 and Vita. That title is launching in October.
