Publisher Bethesda has been promoting its mobile title Fallout Shelter over dating app Tinder.

As spotted by a reader of Kotaku, the firm has set up a dating profile for its series mascot, the Vault Boy.

According to his bio, Vault Boy is 25 and likes Nuka Cola, putting out fires, taking coffee breaks and exploring the blasted wasteland. He also enjoys collecting bottlecaps, lunchboxes and outfits.

His profile also says: "Build a brighter future together… underground! Swipe right to be selected as a Vault-Tec overseer and create the perfect underground community. Start building today."

Bethesda has also started a hashtag called #dateadweller that goes alongside the profile. The firm is pushing the Tinder account over its official advertising channels, too. Clicking on the the profile lets you download Fallout Shelter.
