Nintendo and Microsoft vet Howard Phillips joins GameDuell

GameDuell has hired former Nintendo and Microsoft veteran Howard Phillips as its head of game design and user experience.

The experienced developer will direct all game design projects and teams at the company, which currently employs more than 200 staff.

Phillips has a long history in the game industry, and is credited in design and producer roles on over 165 games. He spent ten years at Nintendo of America, and later held positions at LucasArts, THQ, Microsoft and Chair Entertainment.

“We are so honoured having Howard Phillips join our team as another inspiring lead figure,” said GameDuell Game Production Studio head Todd English.

“He will boost the production of our new generation of social and mobile games to a new level.”
