Top 100 Women in Games: Giselle Stewart

Having overseen Newcastle-based studio Reflections as general manager for 19 years, Giselle Stewart is now leading Ubisoft’s corporate affairs in the UK.

In her roles as director of trade body TIGA, chair of the Creative Skillset Council for Video Games and an Advisory Board member for Next Gen Skills AcademyStewartplays an instrumental role in influencing the skills and talent agenda,including implementing a more favorable immigration policy for the industry.

Shecontinues to be excited by the pace and potential of the industry and will continue to focus on seeking new opportunities for Ubisoft in the UK.

Stewartsees the introduction of video games tax relief as a turning point/an important opportunity for the UK industry, and is excited to contribute her energy to put the UK development scene in the spotlight.
