Dying Light’s physical release delayed by one month, DLC offered for free

The boxed version of Dying Light will arrive a month later than the game’s digital release.

It was announced earlier this week that the physical game would be delayed, and now developer Techland has said it will arrive in Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East on February 27th.

The digital version will still be released worldwide on January 28th.

As an apology all boxed versions will now include the Cuisine & Cargo plus Ultimate Survival Bundle add-ons for free. In addition, the Be the Zombie multiplayer mode will now be free with all versions. Extra weapons dockets will also be given to everyone who has pre-ordered and registered on the game’s website.

Although the changes affect only the release of boxed copies in certain territories, we want to show all of you our appreciation for your continued support,” the developer said. We want to thank you for your patience and support in this matter and can’t wait for you to enjoy playing Dying Light and invading other players’ game in the Be the Zombie” mode.
