Platform holder moving QA and localisation to outsourcing model

190 temporary QA jobs cut at Nintendo Europe

Nintendo of Europe has confirmed it will be cutting the jobs of 190 staff.

All of the 190 are temporary employees in the platform holder’s German QA department, according to MCV, although reports suggest many have been working there for several years.

The cuts are part of a previously announced plan to downsize the firm, which has already seen 130 permanent employees dismissed.

Nintendo is planning to move its QA operations to an outsourcing model.
