WWE SuperCard downloaded 1.5m times

Free-to-play mobile trading card game WWE SuperCard has combined for 1.5m downloads between iOS and Android platforms, 2K has announced.

The publisher didn’t go into specifics regarding how those downloads are divided up on each platform, but the total between the two was reached in less than two weeks out from the app’s launch.

2K also notes that over 82m victories have been recorded in SuperCard’s exhibition mode so far, with users running through 575,000 King of the Ring tournaments since release.

The game is free to download, but does carry microtransactions for purchasing in-game currency that allows players to unlock card packs – which are also available to purchase for real money, ranging from $2 to $25.
