VIDEO: Miyamoto shows off his new Wii U games

Nintendo has revealed some more projects being worked on by development legend Shigeru Miyamoto.

Two games were shown off at Nintendo’s Treehouse Live event – Project Giant Robot and Project Guard.

The first sees gamers playing as – you guessed it – giant robots and fighting one another. Project Guard on the other hand has players protecting a base from invasion using cameras and lasers.

Nintendo says that these games will make the most of the Wii U GamePad.

Project Giant Robot is set to be released in the first half of 2015, while Project Guard is coming in 2015.

Miyamoto told Time that he is also working on a new Star Fox game for the Wii U which has a 2015 release date.
