Former Halo composer sues Bungie for unpaid benefits – report

Halo and Destiny composer Marty O’Donnel is reportedly suing Bungie for unpaid benefits, such as unpaid vacation time and personal days.

Venture Beat reports O’Donnel’s suit was filed on May 1st, accusing both Bungie and its chief executive Harold Ryan of violating the company’s agreement to pay employees for "unused vacation, paid time off, sabbatical time and other benefits."

Bungie has since filed a response denying all allegations made in the suit.

MCV reported in April that O’Donnel had been fired from the company, a move the composer claimed at the time was done without cause.”

O’Donnell joined the company in 2000 as an audio director, most recently overseeing the audio of Bungie’s upcoming release Destiny.
