Trials Frontier downloaded over six million times in first week

Ubisoft’s Trials Frontier has broken mobile records for the publisher.

It has revealed that the game, despite aggravating some critics, was downloaded over 6m times in its first week of release, making it the fastest selling mobile game the publisher has ever released.

The game is currently the number one free app in 75 App Store countries.

"We are thrilled with the success Trials Frontier has had in its first week of launch," Ubisoft Mobile MD Jean-Michel Detoc said. "Trials Frontier has the most first week downloads of any Ubisoft mobile title to date, and the thousands of players reviews we received are amazingly positive, an achievement Redlynx and Ubisoft are proud to announce.

"In order to keep players engaged, we have a robust post-launch content plan including new bikes and multiplayer modes that will allow players to continue exploring and enjoying the world of Trails Frontier."

Frontier’s big brother Trials Fusion entered the UK Top 40 at No.7 this week following its release on PS4, Xbox One and 360 last week. It arrives on PC this week.
