Mobile hits now available from casual games giant's home computer download store

Big Fish Games brings Android titles to PC and Mac

Developers launching Android games through Big Fish Games can now release their titles on PC and Mac.

The casual games giant has teamed up with technology firm Bluestacks to enable studios to make their mobile titles playable on home computers by implementing Big Fish’s ecommerce APIs.

Big Fish Games claims this gives Android developers access to an audience of more than 80 million PC and Mac.

"We are now able to offer Android games to the more than a billion consumer PCs and Mac devices worldwide," said Paul Thelen, founder and CEO of Big Fish Games.

"Android developers can, for the first time, access a huge playerbase through our global PC and Mac app store. And our customers on PC and Mac will now be able to enjoy many new games previously not available to them."

Bluestacks CEO Rosen Sharma added: "This deal is a huge win for mobile developers who want to offer their games to PC and Mac players without having to do any work."
