Jen Topping named business manager at Kinect Sesame Street studio

Channel 4 exec heads to Microsoft Soho

Channel 4 Online business manager Jen Topping has joined Microsoft Soho Productions.

Taking up the role of business manager for EMEA TV, Topping will work on building new TV content experiences for Xbox hardware.

She will report to Soho Productions studio manage Brian Stone.

“I’ve had a great time at Channel 4 working across lots of different projects, and have learned a huge amount about how technology is changing the way audiences watch and engage with TV programmes.

“This is such an exciting time to be joining Microsoft with the launch of Xbox One as the new generation all-in-one home entertainment system. I’m looking forward to being part of the team building amazing TV content experiences for Xbox’s millions of users."

During her time at Channel 4, Topping helped launch the media company’s 4 on Demand service, a new website and has also managed the business for online commissioning across multiplatform, games, product management and digital programme support.

She has also worked at other company’s including BBC and the British Interactive Media Association.
