Rob Dyer leaves Zynga

Zynga’s vice president of partner publishing Rob Dyer has left the troubled casual gaming firm.

The former third party boss joined Zynga from Sony Computer Entertainment America where he was senior vice president of public relations.

He has previously served as president of both Eidos and Crystal Dynamics.

The official announcement states that Dyer is no longer with the company and will be pursuing other opportunities within the mobile and social gaming space”.

In Zynga’s own words Dyer was responsible for cultivating and maintaining Zynga’s relationships with external development partners, working with developers to strategize on their game launches, as well as assisting in monetizing and marketing their games”.
