PS4 gets Unity game engine support

Unity has sign a new partnership with Sony to bring its game engine to the PS4 and all other Sony PlayStation platforms.

As well as supporting the home console, the deal means that developers will now be able to use Unity for the PS Vita, PlayStation Mobile and Sony’s upcoming cloud gaming service from Gaikai.

Although the tools will not be released till late this year, Unity has said there will be a beta version of its tech sometime before launch.
