PES 2013 gets Brazilian clubs and stadia; India pricing revealed

Konami has announced that it has secured the licenses of 20 Brazilian top division clubs, a first for the franchise. Brazilian star Neymar will grace the cover in certain marketsalongside Christiano Ronaldo.

The Brazilian clubs to be featured in the game are:

  • Atltico Goianiense
  • Atltico Mieiro
  • Bahia
  • Botafogo
  • Corinthians
  • Coritiba
  • Cruzeiro
  • Figueirense
  • Flamengo
  • Fluminense
  • Grmio
  • Internacional
  • Nutico
  • Palmeiras
  • Ponte Preta
  • Portuguesa
  • Santos
  • So Paulo
  • Sport
  • Vasco

The clubs will features their official kits, updated rosters along with a couple of new Brazilian stadia never before seen in a PES game.

PES also has the exclusive license for the Copa Libertadores.

While a release date for the game is yet to be announced, Konami’s Indian distributor Origin Games has revealed to retailers the pricing for PES 2013. The PS3 and Xbox 360 will carry an MRP of Rs 2,999, while the PC version is priced Rs 1,499.

The prices are identical to those of FIFA 13, and a marked drop from Origin’s PES 2012 price.
