Rolocule Games receives angel funding

Pune-based Rolocule Games, developer of the award-winning iOS game Flick Tennis: College Wars, announced today that it has secured angel funding via Mumbai Angels and Blume Ventures, amongst others.

The studio has released three iOS games so far – Super Badminton, Touch Squash, and Flick Tennis: College Wars, which won the People’s Choice Award at the 8th International Mobile Gaming Awards in Barcelona earlier this year. Rolocule’s games have racked up over 1.5 million downloads across 100 countries.

Ajeet Khurana, an active Mumbai Angels investor, will be joining the board of Rolocule Games. We are excited to have Mumbai Angels [on board], for not just their financial support, but also for their strategic guidance and enthusiasm, which will help us take Rolocule to a whole new level,” said Rohit Gupta, founder and CEO of Rolocule Games.

Rolocule plans to expand its team and take its games to new platfroms. Even with a small team and limited budgets, we have created a mark globally on iOS. We wish to take this momentum forward and add more talented folks to our team as we also plan to launch our games on Android,” said COO and co-founder Anuj Tandon.
