Capcom to open Tokyo shop

Apple, Sony and even Angry Birds have their own presence on the High Street – and now Capcom is joining them.

The publisher will open a new bricks-and-mortar store in Tokyo’s Odiaba District on April 14th, according to Destructoid.

The outlet will naturally stock Capcom games, as well as a wide range of merchandise from hugely popular brands such as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Phoenix Wright and Mega Man.

It has also been suggested that the shop will stock products previously exclusive to Capcom’s online store, E-Capcom.

The publisher will also use the store as a venue for special events. It even has a Wi-Fi connection for Monster Hunter fans to meet and play with friends.

Capcom has previously opened a Capcom Bar in Tokyo’s Shinjuku ward late last year.
