360 Twitter and Facebook is live

Facebook may be coming to PS3 in the near future, but the Xbox 360 integration of the famed social network is live and ready to use right now.

Xbox 360 owners who turn on their machines now will suddenly find new entries for Facebook, Twitter and Last.FM – as well as a whole new Zune-branded download portal.

Furthermore, unlike previous 360 updates this one does not require a download, with Microsoft’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb stating on Twitter:

I have to correct myself: When we turn on the new features tomorrow they’ll just appear! No need for a system update.”
