And the next Angry Birds commercial partner is… McDonalds

Angry Birds: Star Wars. Angry Birds: Rio. Angry Birds: Green Day. Angry Birds: Heikki. And Nasa. Now we can add McDonalds to that list.

Psfk reports that Rovio has teamed up with McDonalds in Japan to release specific location-based levels for Angry Birds available only in the fast food restaurants.

As well as the exclusive content customers can also nominate a store to have a real slingshot attached to its golden arches.

We’re delighted about this exciting new initiative in China,” McDonalds China’s VP of marketing Christine Xu stated.

Both McDonald’s and Rovio are brands that are very focused on their customers, wanting to constantly bring them better and more engaging experiences, and that’s what brought us together.”
