Angry Birds Trilogy catapulting to Wii and Wii U

Shock news – there are formats on which Angry Birds has not yet been released.

Although that is shortly about to change. Activision has announced that Angry Birds Trilogy will be released on both Wii and Wii U on August 16th.

The Wii U version offers play on either the TV or on the touchscreen. And of course the Wii U’s interface is ideally suited to a game that began life on iOS.

Both will contain everything that was found in the games’ original releases – those being Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio – as well as the 19 console exclusive episodes seen elsewhere.
