Asda offers 3DS-Vita trade-in deal

Supermarket chain Asda has revealed a new trade-in deal for 3DS owners who are considering a swap for Sony’s new PlayStation Vita.

The retailer was already selling the new handheld for a market leading 197. It is now offering a hefty 100 for any 3DS handed over against a purchase.

Asda’s standard 3DS trade-in price is just 47, meaning that it is willing to pay over twice what it regards as the odds as part of the deal.

In other news, unverified reports on Twitter suggest that HMV has been labelling its Ubisoft Vita titles with a sticker highlighting their unavailability at rival GAME.
