Bandai Namco accidentally confirms Dark Souls 3 is real

An automated YouTube tweet from publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed the existence of Dark Souls 3.

The swiftly deleted tweet – spotted by Push Square, and captured by Twitter user Sayem Ahmed – reads that ‘Only embers remain’, with a link to a trailer, presumably to go out during E3, potentially as a part of Sony or Microsoft’s E3 media briefings.

This follows rumours that the next game in the Souls series was on the way. At the start of June, there were reports that From Software boss Hidetaka Miyazaki would be in charge of Dark Souls 3.

That was before IGN found a promotional image for the gamebearing an ‘early 2016′ release date.
