Bandai Namco opens online store

Publisher Bandai Namco has today launched a new online store.

The outlet is stocking ‘high quality’ official merchandise based on some of the firm’s IPs. Products available include posters, canvases, coffee mugs, hoodies, T-shirts and phone cases designed around brands such as Pac-Man, Tales of, and Tekken.

We built this destination to finally be able todeliversome really nice merchandisearoundour famous brands and iconic characters,” Bandai Namco’s business unit director Anthony Macare said.

We’vespecificallycreated some exclusive designs with famous artists forPac-Man’s 35thbirthday thatwe’re surewill pleasenot only fans of Pac-Man but also fans of more carefully branded merchandise.”

He continued: This reflects Bandai Namco’s strategy to provide a full range of new services and products outside of video games.

You have noticed we changed our name earlier this year from Bandai Namco Games to Bandai Namco Entertainment, to diversify and provide a wider experience to our fans and this store is one of the first visible action of this change.

We’re all big fans of ourownIPsincluding retro-designs; andwewantedto create a placewherepeoplecouldget accessto exclusive official high quality merchandise where the community also can give us feedback on what they would love to see. This store has been a request from our communities for years and we felt that the time was right and now here we are.”
