Batman: Arkham Origins rumoured for release this year

Batman: Arkham Origins is rumoured to be the third Batman game from Rocksteady Studios.

French site Gameblog has quoted sources as confirming that the prequel will be revealed at E3 and will be headed to current and next-gen platforms.

Interestingly, the website also says that Superman and Green Lantern, as well as other characters from the Justice League might feature in the game.

Time Warner had announced earlier this year that a new Batman game was scheduled for release this year, but no details were given. There were reports that this game was in development at a different studio while Rocksteady worked on a next-gen follow-up to Arkham City.
