Dragon Age 3, next Mass Effect to use Frostbite 3

Battlefield 4 was unveiled a couple of days ago as the game that will debut DICE’s next generation Frostbite 3, and like its predecessor, it looks set to power a host of other EA games.

Aaryn Flynn, general manager at Bioware’s Edmonton and Montreal studios has revealed that Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and the next, as yet unannounced, Mass Effect game will also use the Frostbite 3 engine.

For everyone who’s been asking after the BF4 reveal, DA3 and the next Mass Effect are also using Frostbite 3. It’s awesome,” Flynn tweeted.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is scheduled for release later this year.
