BlueGiant announces RTS game Tryst for PC, Mac

Hyderabad-based BlueGiant Interactive today announced its next game – a competitive real-time strategy title named Tryst.

Currently in development for release on PC and Mac, Tryst is set in the distant future where humans find themselves at war with a mechanical alien race – the Zali. Players will take command of one of these two factions.

Tryst features a single-player campaign, in which players can play as either the humans or the Zali, each with distinct styles.

At its core, however, Tryst is a competitive multiplayer game, featuring maps designed for team play or free-for-alls with up to eight players. The game will include matchmaking lobbies, clan support, stat tracking, Steam achievements, leaderboards, and a built-in replay system.

Maps in Tryst will feature environmental hazards that will either impede or help the player, and post-release, BlueGiant will also release a map editor, using which players can create and share their own maps with the game’s community.

No release date has been announced for Tryst. While it will be available digitally via Steam, we’re yet to hear if it will also be released at retail.

Before this, BlueGiant released PC RTS title Apox in 2011.
