Clint Hocking leaves Amazon Game Studios – report

Industry vet Clint Hocking has left Amazon Game Studios, according to a new report.

IGN reports on the departure of Hocking, which comes a little over a year after both he and former Valve lead Kim Swift joined Amazon’s development team and just two months following the company announcing new job openings for an ambitious PC game.”

Hocking previously worked at Ubisoft on Splinter Cell and Far Cry franchises, serving stints at Valve and LucasArts as well.

It’s not clear at this point why the designer left Amazon, and no word on future plans either.
