Amiibo trio receives price drop

Nintendo has announced a price drop for Donkey Kong, Peach and Yoshi amiibo figures.

The toys – previously priced at $12.99 each – are now available for $9.99. All three characters ranked in the lower half of the top 10 best-selling amiibo in North America.

New versions of Peach and Yoshi amiibo are set to hit shelves next month alongside the launch of Wii U release Mario Party 10.

According to Nintendo, more than 5.7m amiibo products have been shipped in the past year.
