Hotline Miami heading to PS4, will be free to existing PS3 or Vita owners

Devolver Digital has confirmed a PS4 release for ultra-violent retro action title Hotline Miami.

Speaking to Destructoid, as reported by CVG, the PS4 version will support Cross-Buy, meaning those who have previously purchased it for PS3 or Vita will get access to the new release for free.

We’re going to keep it Cross-buy because we feel that if the user has already bought it for a PlayStation platform, they have the right to own it on Vita, on PS4, on PS3,” Devolver’s Nigel Lowrie said. It’s different on PlayStation to PC because they’re totally different environments."

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is due out some time later this year.
