Monster Hunter X is coming to Europe as Monster Hunter Generations

The next Monster Hunter will reach 3DS this summer, Nintendo has announced.

Monster Hunter Generations is, according to the company, ‘the most customisable Monster Hunter experience to date’. The title went by the name Monster Hunter X in Japan.

Monster Hunter is one of the most popular game franchises in Japan. It’s not quite impacted the Western markets to the same level, but it has been increasing in popularity. The last Monster Hunter shipped 1m units in just a few weeks in the US and Europe.

The game was announced as part of Nintendo’s Direct. It will be published by Nintendo, and developed by Capcom.
