New Kirby 3DS game coming in 2014

A new Kirby title has been announced for Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed the iconic character’s latest adventure as part of yesterday’s Nintendo Direct event.

The game marks Kirby’s debut on the 3DS handheld, and brings the series up to two dozen individual titles (including remakes).

Footage shows a side-scroller where Kirby also moves between the foreground and background, and has an inhale everything” ability that clears the screen in certain areas.

Kirby 3DS will land in 2014.
