Resident Evil 4 tipped for HD remake

Signs are pointing to possible HD remakes for two Resident Evil games – Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica: Director’s Cut.

Andriasang, which itself admits that it can’t be absolutely certain of the report’s validity, says that the publisher is preparing what it is calling Resident Evil Revival Selection HD Remastered Series.

It believes that both games will remain more or less unchanged from their original incarnation, apart from their 720p HD makeovers and integration of services such as Xbox Live and PlayStation Trophies.

Both are said to be in development for PS3 and Xbox 360, though there’s no word yet on possible PlayStation Move or Kinect compatibility.
