Hudson 3DS games in danger

A report on leading Japanese games news source Andriasang is claiming that publisher Hudson has cancelled three proposed 3DS titles.

The games in question are Bomberman 3DS, platform title Bonk and side scrolling shooter Omega Five. Weekly Japanese trade magazine Famitsu is cited as the source.

It’s believed that the decision is linked the company’s recent acquisition at the hands of Konami.

Even if the news is true, however, expect Bomberman in particular to make a swift reappearance – Konami is unlikely to turn its back on Hudson’s most successful foreign export.

Bigger question marks hang over games like Omega Five, however, which will be a big blow for the hardcore audience who are sure to be amongst the 3DS’ early adopters.
