E3 2011: New Sony handheld to replicate battery capacity of it's predecessor

Sony: Vita battery life to rival PSP’s

Sony has revealed some interesting new facts about the upcoming PS Vita, saying that it hopes the battery life of the console will rival that of the PSP.

Speaking to Engadget, the company would not go into specifics but did say, with the exception of having to power ‘graphically intense’ titles like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the Vita battery would be comparable to that of its previous handheld.

Sony also said that the ‘multiport’ socket on the base of the machine, while generally serving as a power port, may also function as a video-out.
