Telltale reveals Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Edition for PS4, Xbox

Telltale has announced a special edition release of Back to the Future: The Game on PS4 and Xbox consoles, set to arrive later this month.

Dubbed Back to the Future: The Game 30th Anniversary Edition– to commemorate the film’s premiere three decades ago –the updated release includes visual upgrades and current-gen capabilities, along with improved voice work from Biff Tannen’s original film actor.

The release will arrive digitally worldwide on October 13th. It will arrive at US retailers on the same day, while Europe retailers will have it in stock on October 16th. Telltale adds an Xbox 360 release is planned for the new version as well.

Back to the Future: The Game initially launched in December 2010 as a five-piece episodic for Windows and Mac. The standard edition has since hit PS3 and iOS, as well as a retail release on the Wii.
